I'm also thinking about tires for summer. I plan on running my 16x7 RS wheels, and getting some nice tires for them. 17's just seem to be too large on my cars.

The stock size is 205/55/16, and I would like wider/stiffer without adding much (if any) weight. However, there is not likely to be much in the way of selection for 215/50/16 (wider/shorter), so I was thinking about 205/50/16. I imagine 225s to be too wide for 16x7.

Anybody with experience with 16's want to chime in?
