The PureONE PL14460 is the same only shorter and actually has more filter area than the OEM blacks.

Taller can allegedly absorb more radiant energy from the headers. I don't believe it is enough of a factor not to get the additional filter capacity.

Mods, any chance we can move the oil and filter discussion out of this thread and into tech? It is actually remotely useful.
