I feel really really really bad for Massa now. Especially since the results of the race are going to stand. I can certainly understand his frustration at Piquet, Renault and even Alonso... I really hope Ferrari gives him a good car next year to win the championship (and hopefully he put Alonso into a wall once or twice for good measure). |
While I totally feel for the way Massa got totally owned by Renault's bullshit, he needs to get his mind right. There's nothing he can do about '08 now, and he's lost '09 to a freak accident that was totally out of his control. He needs to channel all his angst and anger about how he keeps getting screwed into focus on how he's going to get healthy and show up to every round of 2010 to win.
He needs to give his pal Schumacher a call during the off season and get some tips on being a cold, calculating, race dominator. The best revenge he could ask for is to out pace, out qualify, and out score Alonso in every round on his way to a driver's championship.
