Which surface? ...there were several.
The two major surfaces were slick pavement and gravely pavement. On Saturday, the gravely pavement offered very little traction which resulted in some awesome drifting.
The slick surface offered much better traction, but according to Jim, on Friday, it was the opposite. Not sure about Sunday since I stayed home.
