Quick Question, Is there really a difference between the master cylinder for an automatic impreza and a manual impreza?

My cylinder is going out (had a few scary moments on stage)

I Tried to order the $51.79 Part (MT non-ABS) specific one but it got back ordered basically indefinitely

And none of the other ones seems to be quite right for my car, Except the Centric for $159

I would think that the 73.79 one is good,w/Power Brakes; Bore = 13/16"; w/o ABS but it says for Automatic transmission .. I don't recall ever seeing a brake line go to or from the transmission, so is the master cylinder really transmission specific? (it doesn't mount to the transmission) I'm confused.

an extra $70 to have brakes on stage is well worth it, but am i just throwing money away buying the $159 version over the 73.79 ?
