Well, since this is the 1st good search hit for "sketchup"...
I drew this up. Now I just have to build it. Only problem is... it's a 14' wide gate with a steel frame. It's going to be a decent bit of work.
Also, I'm not even sure where to find some 8"x8" swaged hinges with a 500lb capacity.
