Dean, CR has Hankook icebear W300 (but now W400) and it's last in the ratings. Is that the same thing?

You make a good point. I really want snow tires that lasts a long time. The Wintersport 3D's seemed to wear somewhat quickly too, but I did rip them up on dry pavement a couple times.
