Oh that's good times.
And, I haven't "launched" the car - I burnt up the clutch (that was definitely on it's way out anyway, and original, with 85k), by feathering it like a new:. I came out a little too far at the freeway offramp at McCarren (think Woody's), saw a truck coming, and since I was too far out to just stop I gave it a bit much gas, and feathered the clutch out so to not drop the clutch, thereby making it smoke, stink, and generally turn into a piece of poop. Basically rendered the car undrivable from 0 in first, otherwise it was ok (chattered like a mofo). The stiffer clutch is definitely teaching me to be easy on it, hence why I need to make sure I'm not going to stall the car tomorrow (but dropping the clutch at 6k is so much fun, no

(launching to me involves e-brake squat set, lineloc, 4k rpm, and clutch drop; and I definitely suck at that sort of launch)
