It is possible that it could help. I'll talk to some of the NA gurus and see what they think. I suppose at the very least you can remove some rotating mass, which helps, even if the bump in CR doesn't really do much for actual power output.
And $300 for all that stuff is a great deal. I'd jump on it if I were in your position.
