Payback for what? Accidentally sending the wrong gear ratio to someone who doesn't notify you about it for over 45 days?
What if you sold someone something, then months later after the transactions been complete they start chasing you around the internet looking for a refund telling you that the part they've had for a long time is the wrong part? Would you believe them?
Frankly, if I were to sell something and they didn't contact me at most a day or two after receiving it that it's the wrong part, I'd tell them to pound sand. Granted, I wouldn't try to sell something to someone without being very explicit about what I'm selling (for example, I'd definitely be sure of the ratio on a set of gears or whatever), but if the buyer perhaps didn't know what they were buying they better get in touch with me immediately to return the part and get a refund. After a few days, it's their own damn fault for buying the wrong part.
