Well I don't know how much you have paid on your WRX or how much it is worth, but from searching I see turbo II's going for 5000-10000! So a JDM turbo at 6000 seems like a good deal on the surface. You seem to have high payments, I don't know what you mean by minimum payments but 450 on a used car seems like a lot. I don't know how much you paid but if I was you I would try to buy are car outright if I could to save a ton of money on interest payments. Of course staying with the WRX and eventually paying it off will help your credit rating. If I could do it all over again I would have waited till I got a better job to buy my WRX.

How many miles are on the rx-7 you have the option to buy. It might give you grief like your previous rx-7. It sounds like you really love the rx-7.
