Default Ahh, you beat me to it...

Quite timely actually as I am just sitting down at the computer after having changed my rotors. I am giving the Carbotech rotors a try. They are actually DBA rotors that Carbotech has slotted, as I understand. Apperently they were race tested for a full year before being introduced last year.

I have been using carbotech pads for a couple years now, and the price/performance cannot be beat. I've heard people say negative things about carbotech, but I don't think they have been very well informed. You can even call up the company directly and talk to them about what you are looking for. As you can see, I'm a huge fan.

That being said, the rotors are new. I am going this route because the stock rotors don't even hold up for a day of extended track use. I have been hesitant, since I don't want to keep throwing money at stock size rotors if they will never work. However, I have 2 sets of 16" RS wheels/tires, 4-pot calipers, and limited income, so $2000+ on stop-techs and new wheels/tires is a HUGE expense.

I'll be up at Reno, so you can check them out if you like.
