You can do it!
Remember it's not a race. I've never been to the track either (hmmm does that help or not?)
I think you will regret not doing it. It's a school so you can take it as slow or fast as you want. With 2.4 miles and 15 people on the track at a time, we will each potentially have more than an 1/8 mile between us. I'm sure for the novice class, the morning session is no passing and getting used to the track until you are more comfortable to increase your speed. |
That's exactly right. You'll actually be pushing the car a lot less that you do in AutoX... it's all about learning to balance the car and pick your lines, and plan ahead... driving fast isn't the goal, and you never have to go faster than you feel comfortable with.
