You probably already spoke to this person, but the court clerk should be able to tell you where to send/file a brief, even if you do not show up. Alternately, you get a company paid day trip to LA... Look at it that way. |
Trial by Written Declaration. If the Judge decides he's gonna interpret the law in favor of the city's general fund, get a Trial de Novo and rip somebody's head off in person.
