Gotta have the RED one!

I used to shoot my dad's Beaman (sp?) air rifle as a kid. It was one of the ones where the entire barrel is used as the cocking/compression force. A single .144(?) pellet as I recall got loaded into the back of the barrel. I think it was good for 1200, or 1400 FPS and with the scope on it, plunking aluminum cans and the like at 150-200' was fairly easy.

With my friends pump action BB gun, you were lucky to hit them at 20'...

I wonder what ever happened to my compound bow. That was pretty cool also. My brother and nephew have all my really cool model rockets.

This time of year makes me remeber some pretty cool times as a kid...
