That reminds me:
Brandon... if you can get yourself a set of SOHC heads... DO IT! At the very least that will prevent you from needing new head gaskets every 60k miles.
Better yet, do what all these other guys have said: take the $5000 from the shop and get a WRX swap done! ...'course then you have to promise to take care of that thing and not drive like an idiot. If you were to kill a red '98 w/ a turbo motor we'd have to kill you back.
