I think on short notice, they are worried about filling the event, and getting sponsors.
Putting on a 2 day event with banquet, track food, and safety equipment is a bit more expensive than a RFR TNL day.

I thought you said something about the last-minute-ness meaning that prices would be a bit lower than the normal Audi @ Seca prices. Instead it's about $100 more, IIRC!
No big deal, since I can't afford to go even if it was $325.
