Well, I used to make the SLO to San Ramon drive (4 hrs) like it was nothing back when I was going to Cal Poly. I can do the Reno-Sac drive with my eyes closed these days... it's only hard at night with all the construction, but it's still not too bad. I've done SLO to Reno with only a stop for gas, that was about 6 hours... it's pretty tough at about hour 4 (somewhere between Stockton and Sac), but really only cuz 5 is BORING as hell and lulls you to sleep. Honestly, I feel like I could drive all day long as long as it's not in a long, straight, BORING line. I mean, if someone gave me the keys to Laguna Seca for a day, I'd drive non-stop till I had to pee/eat/or broke the car!

'Course, I'm gonna try to bring a co-driver just in case I do get too tired, plus I need someone to work the laptop and the DigiCam... which reminds me... I need to find a laptop.
I figure one lunch stop for an hour at about halfway, and a morning and afternoon bathroom break @ 15 min each... (which means AtomicLabMonkey can't come... he has the "squirrel bladder" and has to whiz every hour

) However one thing to consider, get 30 cars together and try to stop for 15 minutes and it'll be a 10 minute ordeal just to get eveyone back on the road!
Also, what's the easiest/fastest way to get back to Reno from the coast? If we gotta drive all the way back the way we got there, we'll have to show up Sunday night then immediately turn around Sunday at 6am!
