He think its stupid to run his forged wheels in the winter though. Ideas? His car is black if that helps in wheel selection.

keep an eye on Ebay, I bought a brand new set of the stock BBS wheels with tires also brand new for $1200 for my wifes '05 STi. You have to remember though that the '05 STi has different wheels than the earlier years (different bolt spacing etc). It cracks me up cause I see a ton of STi's with aftermarket wheels that are actually no where near as good as the stock forged BBS's; so there should be a lot of stock STi wheels around for sale.
