I replaced my stock STI uppipe last weekend. The heat shield welds are broken at both ends, and the shield is completely loose. I'm not sure is can be fixed. I would remove the shield and wrap it with Thermotec. If you want it, it's yours in exchange for buying my dinner at the next Thursday meet.
