Hrm... that might actually be a good thing, provided Mistubishi did a good job with the install. You get a great price on a fast car, with a new motor!
...just make sure you get a warranty on that new motor in case something goes south. 'Course, being in a car club full of knowledgeable people, you'd be better off than most taking the "risk" of buying a car like this one.
The question I'd like answered is, what really happened to the car to break the motor? Did the previous owner really just run it out of oil being oblivious, or did she beat on the car, and why did she get rid of it, if the repair was covered under warranty?
