Actually, in Kevin's case, he probably would be best off getting a 19" or so inch monitor and drop a tunner card, HD, or otherwise into his PC. flat pannel or CRT, that might be the way to go.
Oh, rereading Kevin's first post, I think Scott's gadget is a switch box... If you are really lazy, they make switch boxes with remote controls also.
