Good movie... Not sure what happened to Mike. Got some PM about freezing, but we didn't see him at teh movie.
There is some funny shit, some good music, some real people, more funny shit, rinse and repeat.
And I'll admit to being a Hip Hop imbecile, but there was actual melody behind the the "lyrics" and I even understood 25-40% of those.
Some very talented musicians actually. That's not what I hear coming out of other cars at stop lights, and not what I've heard while scanning for a radio station while traveling. Who knew...
My favorite musician was the lone husky white guy in the green shirt playing guitar... OK, I think one of the horn players was white too, but he wasn't in the center of the stage.
I would have like to see more of the white folks he bussed in for the show... Maybe it just wasn't as funny as I think it would have been.
