And it scared the SHIT out of me!

I was lifting an Armada, which is right at the max. capacity of the lift anyways, weight wise, and the lift cable snapped! Like a f*cking RIFLE!

Luckily the truck was only about 8 inches off the ground, because the driver's side lock on the rack hadn't engauged yet, and that side of the truck came down IMMEDIATELY! Imagine if it had been 8 FEET off the ground...

Just thought I'd share. Now I have to go change my pants...
