8URSTI,

We have differing opinions and that's fine. We don't look down on drag racers, it's just not how most of us have chosen to mod our cars (given Subaru drivelines, heh). I know that in drag racing stuff tends to be more secretive because it is more about absolute power at some point; I'm not claiming to rip off 1.5's becuase it's not something I'm interested in doing. More power to you. The point we're trying to make is that this thread is about posting your mods and what you're making on different dynos, etc, so people can compare like mods, see how different dynos read with similar mods and tunes, etc. If you don't want to post anyhting apbut your car out of secrecy, then don't expect anyone to take you seriously. That's a fact of life when you're new to a community.

You know the guy who posted, we don't, so you're going to tend to defend him, knowing more about the car than we do. I've worked with Scooby performance shops using heartbreaker dynos for years, and I've been on forums for way longer than that, and the issue I had was with his general approach of trying to "beat" people with his first few posts. I respect engineering andd time put into a car; I don't respect someone coming in claiming high numbers with no evidence, because everyone on this board is pretty open about what mods they've done. Not everyone claiming those numbers is a blowhard, but there's enough idiots on the internet that someone ignoring repeated questions about how they got there points to BS instead of fact.

I asked what shop did the tuning becuase I was genuinely curious; we all know people in the industry, and I like to hear aobut shops pushing the limits on what can be done with cars even if it wouldn't be my chosen mod path.

That said, if you do have any further concerns, feel free to PM me as there's no need to pollute the board.
