That said, there are shades of things that like that creeping up at i-club, which could lead to serious issues down the road if not properly dealt with.

Oh, and shit fuck damn whore pussyfarts. Just checking.
Really, what's a bigger threat to a board's health?

A moderator that oversteps their boundaries a few times causing some back-room arguing among vendors.

or

100's of users that perpetually bicker in trivial manner turning every thread on the board into arguments fill with underhanded personal attacks.

You can read NASIOC w/o getting tied up in the bullshit, especially if you mostly stick to OT. When I gave up on i-club it was impossible to participate in SRIC w/o having to view and/or participate in the shit flinging.

Bitching about SubiGal is so 5 years ago. She really hasn't had any major effect on the quality of the board (positive or negative) for years now. As someone that frequents OT, I can tell you, she's not that big a deal, at least not in OT, which is where I spend 99% of my time at NASIOC. Besides, I'd rather have some mildly totalitarian moderators on occasional power trips that have the power to actually fix problems, over moderators that can't take a stand because they'll just get walked all over by gen-pop.
