A track day typically causes less wear than a day of autocross.

Overheating can be a problem, but you will hear that you are overdriving them before they get there. You should only hear occasional inside tire singing at the track, not constant in corner tire screaming.

They will start to feel greasy if you over drive them, but they will still handle fairly predictably. Slow down and let them cool.

Bottom line, 615s hold up pretty well at the track.
