If you want to drive a corvette motor at autocross, leave it in a corvette. At least then you can put
some of the power to the ground.
And if you're thinking of getting a second car for relatively cheap autocross use, I would highly encourage you to grab a Miata. Mine was fun, and Sue's is amazing.
