Now if you have 2 sets of rims, and are thinking about autocrossing the C4, that's a different story. 615s all the way!
What sizes does the C4 use, and we can look what's out there for it.

The C4 takes 205/50/17's in front and 255/40/17 in back. I am pretty sure that I can run 225/45/17 in front as that size exactly matches the rear size diameter.
