Just in case anyone isn't on the Renoscca site.

2014 Annual Tech info:

The date will be March 29th, the location will remain the same as the last few years at Summit Racing which is located at 960 East Glendale Avenue, Sparks, NV 89431. Annual tech will be going from 9:00 AM to about 1:00 PM. There will be a BBQ going usually with Burgers and Hotdogs around 12:00 PM. Come out and get your car inspected, socialize, get some food and have a good time!

Make sure that your car is in race ready condition (empty of all debris), with your numbers, and don't forget your helmet. The only exception in being race ready is wheels and tires if you normally run race tires (if you race on non- street legal tires, you may get tech with your street tires on).

Make sure you bring either a full rule book, or the first page printed out from the downloaded copy so that we can sign you off during the annual tech process. You will not receive an annual tech without one of these.

Also remember if you get an annual tech you are responsible in making sure you are bringing a safe car to each event. It does mean you should check your vehicle prior to events to make sure everything is safe, and ready to go.

Here are the conditions as defined in the Reno SCCA supplemental rules:

2.1. Safety Inspections (Solo Rule 3.3.3) The following is added to Solo Rule 3.3.3:
2.1.1. Annual Safety Inspection Annual Safety Inspection will be offered for vehicles of competitors that have competed in at least one full season of Solo events. The Chief of Tech, Safety Steward or Solo Director may exclude or include any vehicle from the Annual Safety Inspection program. Upon successful completion of the annual safety inspection a Reno Region Solo Annual Tech sticker shall be affixed to any part of the upper left side of the vehicle, including, but not limited to, a roll bar or the corner of the windshield. An annual sticker shall also be affixed to the left side of the driver’s helmet. The competitor’s current Solo Rules book, or electronic copy of the current Solo Rule book on laptop or CD, or printed copy of the cover of the current Solo Rules book downloaded from the SCCA website will be stamped and initialed to indicate successful completion of Annual Tech Inspection.
