more ... they need about a 100 times more driving skills than I'll probably ever have. Besides the strength it must take to keep their hands on the steering wheel going in circles with an 800hp monster under them, they have to know when to gas, when to ride the brakes, when to bump-draft, when to try to slingshot around another car, they have to know what to do when the car gets a little wiggly or when they get bumped, and they have to know how to communicate what their car is doing while they're driving. They also have to know the protocol when they're out there, and if they get in trouble, they'd better do everything to keep it out of the way of everybody else.

Yeah, agreed that most of the time its more fun to watch some other types of motorsports. But, the last 10 (13!) laps or so of Daytona was some pretty great racing there at the end.
