Mostly for the sheer level of retardation that must have gone into this operation, but partly also for the choice of Operation Code Name. Have our Federal agencies finally deteriorated into a pack of kids with badges and large expense accounts?

Holy shit. 35,000 people have been killed? I didn't know it had gotten that bad. Shame on ATF for contributing weapons to that, regardless of their motives.

That "may" have crossed the line between running a sting operation and covert encouragement/enabling of violence in a foreign country...........I thought that was the CIA's job.......
