Default June 24-25 ThunderHill RallyX

I'de guess that most everyone is going to autocross. However if anyone would prefer to drive around on hot dirt then hot tarmac

http://www.sfrscca.org/RallyX/

I went to the event 2 weeks ago and I had a Blast. No paint or bumper damage at all! *knock on wood* You definatly don't get going as fast but you can take out all your pent up FNF3 Drifting needs!

Also the amount of subarus is great there, Almost as many as a reno autocross event.

Slidding in the dirt was a lot of fun. You don't achieve high speeds at all, even the Mod guys didn't get out of first on saturday, but all the drifting in the dirt is great. If you like that sort of thing!

It was 105F with 65% humity on saturday no clouds, and sunday gave us a lovely break of 101 F with a slight breeze.

Luckily they had a Canopy for all of the worker stations , so at least you got to stand in the shade (inbetween running out for cones). You did end up eating quite a bit of dust though. I need to bring my snowboarding goggles out with me next time.

Well some people just have way to much money, what they should do is give it to us "low budget" racers!

I didn't see any corvettes there. Last event there was a sick Baja Truck though.

yep Biscutt Boy , I have quite a few videos of you , maybe even a cone murder caught on video !

My apartment still doesn't have power , but i found a nice gallery of the June 11th event : http://www.petcow.org/~peter/pics/Cars/RallyX_6-11-6/
