WTB AC Condenser - Subaru Enthusiasts Car Club of the Sierras

Howdy,

I need an AC Condenser for an 05 STI.. should be lots of years and models with the same part number.. (cabin size is the same on most of the subaru sedans)

if not rock auto has em for 75$.. but i'm a cheap guy so .. . lmk if anyone has one laying around.

I'd pay something fair for one in town.. $50?

I think I've got the one out of my WRX. I've also got most (maybe all) of the lines. Just no compressor.

It's been in a box for like the last 5 years. I'd be happy to take $50 for it.

Sold!. I just need the AC Condenser. mine is hooked up but there's a hole in it so for some odd reason it just doesn't seem to work anymore.. lol

drop me a text when its convenient and i can drive over with cash and grab it.

Let me pull it down from storage and make sure it's in the box I think it's in.

I'm home most evenings, and I should be home this weekend. How often are you in Reno these days? Or, I could bring it to the meet on Thursday this week if you can make it. Though I know with a new baby how impossible it can be to get out for dinner.

I started working in reno in about 09, and I moved in with my (at the time) GF back in 2011.

We are now married with our first child , Aleana, who was born 17 days ago today.

Also i bought my first house 15 days ago (Yes the timing on those 2 sucked really bad) I just finished moving stuff out of the old rental last Saturday.

So i'm in reno all the time now.

I thought you were still commuting, which makes it hard for you to just drop by my place if it means waiting around Reno until I'm home from the office. If you're in town, it should be a lot easier for you to come by. Want to drop by the meet on Thursday? Or meet up some other time?

Congrats on the baby BTW. We just had our first about 7 months ago. It's only about a billion times more work than we expected, so uh, good luck and stuff.

I bought scotts , it looks slightly different but it should install no problem. if it doesn't i may be bugging you to see if yours is an exact match (or close enough to get my ac working)

Got the AC Condenser in tuesday night , and just charged my ac system right after work yesterday. although it got a bit below 70 .. feels like a good charge think i had 40 psi and it was blowing really cold air. (it was in the safe range on the bottle , and i went by the directions... sorta guessing as what the number was at this point)

Thanks again.

now that i'm ready for a heat wave it gets cold and rainy ... lol
