Do you have the software for estimating body shop repairs? Some idiot woman backed her full-size truck into my car this morning in a drive through. Yes, you read that right... BACKED into me in a DRIVE-THRU. Tore a couple gouges in my bumper and and bent up my hood. Also busted 3 of the mounting clips off my grill. Those should be the only things replaced, and of course they would have to be painted and the fenders blended.

I will have pics later in the day.

Unfortunatly I do not. Adjusters have access to this program. Someone told me there is a way for me to access it, but they weren't sure. I will call our adjuster and see if there is a way for me to access it, or ou can just tell me what parts you think would need replacing, and I can get the prices from him.

just those 3 parts- hood assembly (but not scoops or backing plates), bumper cover and foam backing, and the grill. There would also be paint work for both fenders and some removal/replacement labor. It takes a while to strip down an RS front bumper.

No no- the damage is very minor. If this were an older car I wouldn't even bother to fix it. Still perfectly driveable, and I will probably make enough extra money to buy some STi seats if the recyclers have a BRP RS handy.

Let me look into the general cost plus paint and labor.

Bogus. Nate and I looked at it closer. Radiator support is bent and some of the welds are broken. I am now very unlikely to have the car anywhere near ready in time for Buttonwillow. Autocross season shouldn't be a problem however.

Actually, if I change it, I'm on record as saying that I would go with P1 stuff, and I still think that's what I'd do.

I took it back to one of the places that gave me an estimate and he is 99% sure there is no core support damage. I'm going to take it to that place in Sac that ScottB recommends and see what they say as well as have Nate take a closer look (what we thought was a broken weld may have simply been poor use of adhesive during assembly).

Stay tuned for updates. I'll actually be glas if there is no structural damage because that means I can get non-stock parts and make a little cash off the deal. Otherwise, I'll just be out of a car, probably for too long to make it to buttonwillow.
