Yeah, there's a section that's graded, but not yet paved. I swear it will rival Laguna Seca's corkscrew as far as the hill you'll be driving down!

I guarantee that the R-F version will be the better bang for the buck. Cheaper track and you aren't being crowded out by pro series all the time. At least not yet...

This ain't Amsterdam, Austin. This is a driver's market. Seca is fucking dead as... dead. Reno, it's coming back in a big fucking way.

I'm not saying it's as "good" as Seca, I'm just saying the drop down the hill is as big.

Tell me that after you've driven off the cliff at Seca.

I'm planning on tracking my car there at the next Audi Club event. Matt and I got bumped out of the last one due to too many registered drivers.

The real thing actually isn't that bad thanks to this thing called the third dimension, and the ability to move your head and eyes... Now turn 9, that's a mother pucker.

In GT3 I found that makign it through the corkscrew is a lot easier when you don't have to worry about what happens to cars that try to go through it like movie stunt drivers do.

Toca is less forgiving, a bit more realistic.... You can blow the corner and understeer right off the track into the wall and total the car quite easily! (100% realistic damage)

I't is a great corner, but it makes me pucker up being that hard on the gas going down hill through a corner... when you know you can't lift...

The corkscrew really isn't that bad... Depending on speed, brake before the crest, let off, and brake again HARD before you turn in and get right back on the gas after you turn to pull the car down the hill and aroung to the right... People get in trouble not braking enough, and not using the throttle to get the car hooked back up IMHO... Trying to go fast through it at least in a street car is a waste because it will mess up your entry to 9 which is where you want to be fast...

Laguna is just a brake eating monster...

100+ MPH straight in almost any car into 2nd gear hairpin. (Turn 2)

Fast right hander in to fairly long "straight" into fairly deceptive and tight 120degree or so left. (Trun 4-5)

A massive long uphill in to a deceptivly fast left hander into another long uphill mostly straight into the ultra slow corkscrew,

The downhill bombs into 10, and 11...

Bring spare Pads is all I can say... :-) Even for your virtual cars...

The braking is bad into the corkscrew and out of the straight, but otherwise the rest of the corners are scrub corners it seems, where you can just lift a little before hand then keep the throttle on when you hit the corner. Im sure if I drove my car at LS, the only corner I would brake for would be the corkscrew (until my new engine goes in!)

I'm going to remind you of this statement someday, after you've driven a fast car around a racetrack.
