Default So.....who wants to lend me a hand (and a few hours)

Looks like everyone had a blast at the track, so I am really pushing myself to get out to the next one.

I got all the parts in now, and definatly need some help to get it all installed. I could buy someone dinner, drinks, or just give you some cash.

Stuff I need installed....some things I know I can do.

Spark Plugs
Uppipe (w/gaskets)
Turboback
PCV Valve
Intercooler Hose Kit

I know I can do some of it, but the uppipe and sparks look like a pain, and I don't really want to screw it up and have to do it over.

Deal, did somebody say Deal? Oh, Dean, yeah that's me.

Exhaust is easy. I can help with that, and uppipe should probably go at the same time.

I'd like to see watch the plug job as I haven't done one on these cars. Which plugs did you go with? Just wondering because GRM had an interesting observation on the aftermarket ones... http://www.grassrootsmotorsports.com/stock%20tips.html

I still need to get the guage install completed. Trade you time...

Sure...although Scott is the gauge master.

I went with the NGK Iridium's plugs.

Anyone down to help me out a bit this weekend?

SubyDude still hasn't sent me my cat-back (been almost 3 weeks since I paid for it). No idea what the hold up is.

But I do want to install the spark plugs, uppipe, and pcv valve this weekend.

Ryan, still down to help?

Don't do the uppipe unless you can do the turbo back. The down-pipe has to come off to do the up-pipe, so you might as well do them at the same time.

I have the downpipe. Can't I install the downpipe and just leave the cat-back off till it comes in the mail?

Well, if the stock cat-back bolts up, or if you don't mind running w/o a cat-back (I wouldn't advise that... you'll cook the underside of the car)...

Call SD and complain. It's illegal to charge you more than a couple days before your item ships.

I called Subydude. Apparently, they have been back-ordered forever.

He said that I will have the axle-back part on Tuesday, but the midpipe is in Oklahoma

I guess this is the only available one, but heym whatever works. Hopefully I will still get it all before next weekend.

I dunno, if I hit you with a pipe, and you hit me with a roach, I am wondering who would be more in pain.
