I though meth was still the drug of choice.
I just had to spend a clinical nursing day at the Washoe prgenancy center and the amount of mothers on and 'off' of meth is simply staggering. Big props to the Clinical Nurse Midwives there who give care to these women in the hopes of the babies being healthy. They do an absolutely amazing job.I just couldn't do the 'nonjudgemental thing' and not give these women the third degree. Oh yeah, I'm glad I'm male and they wouldn't hire me even if I was interested in birthin babies. I love the ICU. Pregnancy center requirement met, never looking back.
