Default Oil Pressure readings

hey, im just wondering what everyone with oil pressure guages are reading for their oil pressure. I am somewhere around 90psi under normal driving and 40psi at idle. This is after the car is fully warmed up and everything. at start up colt im at 110psi approx. Just trying to gather some info thanks for the help.

I can't recall what my Miata's motor did oil pressure-wise... but it was lower than that across the board.

However, that car saw 240F oil temps bone stock driving across Roseville on midsummer afternoons, so it's probably not a good comparison to begin with. I do remember that my idle pressures were ~1bar.

IIRC alldata says idle should be ~98 kpa or something like that and driving should be ~300-350 kpa give or take some. i dont know what that is in psi sorry. ill check when i go to work tomorrow to make sure and let you know.

Google is your friend:

98kpa = 14psi, 325kpa = 47 psi... which don't sound quite right compared to what I'd see on my car, but I've got an oil cooler and remote oil filter.

My car would start up/cold idle in the 90-100 psi range. Warm idle around 35-40 psi. Hot idle (right after coming off track) around 20-25 psi. And around 80-100 psi warm/hot under load. Sounds like your numbers are right on Ryan.
