Snowboarding....Because gravity is cheaper than gas
Default The car is finally getting some love

I just ordered some stainless steel brake lines, a strano front swaybar, and a set of megan coilovers. Next on the list is a set of Azenis RT-615's and a new windshield. Install on everything wont be until early april but I'm still stoked.

Yeah, I'm getting to the point where the "new windshield mod" is becoming more and more necessary... It looks like somebody sprayed my glass with hairspray!

Get all that suspension stuff installed and setup, and that thing's gonna be a new car man! Awesome!

you will have to let me ride in your car once you install the megan coilovers, I have been looking at a set also.

Make sure you lube the heck out of the bushings mounts. I have the same 32mm Bar on my car, and Cory and I didn't lube them enough. So, now it creeks and grumbles whenever I go into a parking lot.

We probably swiped out a lot of the lube as well, just shoving them in there, seeing how tight a fit they are!

that sounds like porn

Nah, the pros don't even need lube.

Sam told me to use axle grease instead of just standard stuff, there has to be some kind of marine grease that I can find that will prolly work even better.

what about the super thick stuff that comes from energy suspension? they included it with my cobb rsb and it lasted about 8 months, and now it squeeks and stuff. is that long for not re-greasing?

Make sure you use grease compatible with the bushing material. Talk to Strano if you aren't sure. Some grease contains things that don't play well with rubber, etc.

I talked to Sam Strano about it, and he is the one who told me to use axle grease.

Yeah, use marine (sticky) stuff instead of a standard moly, it'll resist washout longer.
