Deal, did somebody say Deal? Oh, Dean, yeah that's me.
Default Large tubing cutter?

Anybody have something that will make a clean cut in 3.5" thin wall tubing?

Hacksaws and sawsalls need not apply.

I'll hit up an exhaust shop if nobody has something.

Tubing made out of what? I've found a new sharp razor blade will cut just about any poly or rubber tubing cleanly, regardless of size.

Stainless Steel and mild steel, so I'm thinking a Razor blade probably won't cut it, pun intended...

The Moose out front should have pointed you to the words "exhaust shop" in the first post.

He told me he needs to splice in another foot of tubing because it doesn't stick out far enough right now.

It is awesome, 88.3db under full throttle up hill in 4th at Laguna Seca with basically no power loss vs. open exhaust.

I just want it removable, so it is going to be setup as a slip fit like it was originally intended to be.

No, a right angle so it sticks up like a daisy.

14" abrasive cut-off saw ftw! I have access to one at work. If you mark the part I'll cut it. I used it to cut off my EVO2's neck-down to 2.5".

I'm having some lathe work done on some 3" stainless tubing next week, but I doubt Senor Cheap Bastard needs that clean of a cut.

That would work if I can't find something to use while it is on the car like one of those rotating pipe/tubing cutters.

I checked on one of those, but the one we sell only goes up to 3".

Like a 3" cut off wheel? I've got one of those. That's what I'd use, and then just clean up the edge of the pipe with a file.
