Trying to pick a wheel color, likely going to be Rota Tarmac II's or G Force in 17X7.5 or STI wheels, but style is still up for debate. Which color do you guys favor with the silver of the two-tone? Car is 97 OB wagon white/silver lowered to GT wagon spec with OEM parts/KYB's & some upgraded susp bits.

Here she is lowered with WRX wheels and way too short a tire (205/50/16)this summer. Trying to end up with 225/45/17's or equivalent outer diameter: ![]() ![]() Kicking around idea of adding JDM tails, JDM wind guard/rain guards at the windows, debadge, tint down the road.

			I like silver wheels personally.

But, if you do decide you want Bronze Rota G-Force wheels, let me know. I'm considering selling mine.

Unless you're gonna go crazy w/ mods like Aaron did on his Leg, I'd stay away from anything crazy.

Gold would look good, but silver is probable the best.

I'm actually very torn between charcoal and bronze. nKoan, I'm interested once I can verify fit. Are yours 17X7.5, 48? Mods may include a swap down the road, provided I can find someone to do it. Otherwise mods will be slight, I'll take the wheels with me or put them on the 06 if/when the 97 dies or no longer snaps my bean.

I saw a white OB on black wheels that looked mean. I'd personally go for darker as it's tough to match the bronze.

Here's the Rota bronze on my car (same bottom color)

I think Nick's G-Forces are 17x8, so you'd have some serious fender work to do and would probably need coilovers.

However, Nick's now got me thinking dirty thoughts, and if you pass on the G-forces, I'm going to have to consider picking them up and selling my 04 BBS's which will have a fresh solid coat of satin black (stripped to vare metal, then more coats than I can count) So let me know if you're interested.

And, incidentally, that picture is 17x7.5 Rotas with 225/45/17 070's (wide tires) on the WRX struts with GC springs.

Yeah, mine are the 17x8 +48.

Now that I think about it, I wouldn't recommend it for your OB.

Yup. Sybir, they're all yours. I'm on the low-effort platform as far as fender rodgering goes. If the BBS's are available, and you don't trade them to Nick or something, I could be interested.

Will keep you posted. Honestly, as long as you run a relatively narrow 225, you shouldn't have any fender issues of note. I have a roller, too, if it comes to that.

Sweet. Depending on price, I might be interested in the BBS. I'm also eyeballing the Actions, $650 shipped from subydude. Tough choice. Keep me posted.

For the roller, I may very well need that. I go down to the east bay often enough.

Holy Pshop fit batman! Thanks! Just like I thought, I like the silver, bronze, and black (or charcoal) in that order. Trying to track some down in either color, everyone's out of stock. Also trying to decide between these and silver or black STI wheels. Looking at them friday if some other guy doesn't buy them tomorrow. I can PC the silver ones or paint them the bronze or silver later.

FYI, don't PC STi BBS's, only paint. The heat involved with PC'ing can affect the temper of forged wheels where cast wheels handle it ok.

I've got the slate color, so I'm trying to figure the best Rota color match or one shade darker. Anyone know? I think its between steel grey, which is maybe too light, or charcoal grey which is definitely darker but nice.

Here's the gunmetal Gram lights (they're on Jeremiah's car now)..this color is a touch lighter than Rota gunmetal, but darker than charcoal.

Wow. Light changes everything. The bronze still looks sweet, but different than the driveway photo. It totally looked like your lower panel was the other color. I am back to favoring the bronze now. I'm looking at some silver STI wheels friday in Sac, with thoughts of painting them in the near future, since I'm having serious trouble finding Actions for sale. Subydude's out, Oakos is out...otherwise it would be no contest, bronze actions...
