Default boost problem

im having problems hitting full boost for some reason,im down here in sacramento,when i came from reno i was fine and when i got here i was fine but the next morning i was only hitting 9lbs wtf happend.I tried disconnecting the negiative side of the battery but that didnt work either thinking it went into limp mode..so im stumped and only hitting 9lbs

Where did you get tuned?

Vacuum leak or boost solenoid failure?

tuned by mayhem

i dont know if its a either but i started to think it was the stock boost controller and i dont have my leak tester with me..but it all happend the next morning in sac and is still doing it

Is this your first time to lower altitude since your tune?

That sounds like wastegate spring boost which I think means solenoid or the ECU not in control of it.

CEL? Flashing cruise? Any codes?

Forget the leak idea I think. The solenoid bleeds vacuum, so a vacuum leak would cause over boost if I am remembering correctly.

no not the first time at all this is the first time this has happend to me..no cel's no nothing

When you say that it went into limp mode, what do you mean exactly? Try swapping boost control solenoids with somebody.

i thought it went into limp mode but i guess it didnt cause the ecu reset didnt make any change,yes that was my 2nd option to try someone elses solenoid...while im here in sacramento does anyone have one i can have that your not using for free99
