Default WTB a couple tools

I'm going to be installing Konis into some donor struts. Here's the DIY I'm using: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...t=koni+install

It seems I can use a pipe cutter on the fronts but it won't fit on the rears so if anyone can loan me an angle grinder and a pipe cutter (or just an angle grinder), I'd be stoked. Also I'll need a 14mm drillbit if anyone can lend me that too?

Thanks for looking.

I can understand wanting to borrow an angle grinder. But no one is going to loan you a drill bit that you're just going to dull up and give back! You might as well ask "hey, someone just give me $10."

That said. I've got an angle grinder for ya if you're willing to use one of my worn discs on it (or be willing to get your own disc).

hit harbor freight for a angle grinder you can get a small 4 inch unit for about 30.00 and who doesnt need another tool. a 14mm drill bit may be a little difficult to find, lowes and HD most likely won't have it. but when you do find one go ahead and spend a little money on one, a good drill bit is worth it's weight in gold.

They make metric step drills which might be your best bet. Not cheap though but more useful than spending a fortune for one bit. http://www.realdealtools.com/product...roducts_id=684

I only paid about $20 for mine from Harbor F. If you do borrow and have to buy a disc, those are cheap there too.
You could always hit up a pawn shop too, seems there are a lot more tools these days with the economy doing so wonderful. Thank you Obama

I like blaming Obama for cancer. That's pretty bad these days too.

I think I'm going to buy a pipe cutter from HF. They've got a $15 one that'll work on at least the fronts and probably the rears if I pop the gold cap off the top of the strut body. And my buddy who's going to help has an angle grinder so we're good. Thanks for the link Dean.

Saw a coupon for a $17 Pittsburg Angle Grinder at HF. On my way to pick it up (and hopefully the drill bit and pipe cutter) now.

Yo, it's meeeee, Dave man. I got the stuff.

Yah, the only pipe cutter they had was too small though so I just grabbed the angle grinder (4.5" BTW) and a variety pack of discs for it. I also got a water resistant LED head lamp (head flashlight) for $2 (came with batteries too), a pack of 3 stepping drill bits for $10, a ratchet with a swivel head for $7, and a 24" aluminum bar clamp for $5.

You do realize hes been in office for like a whole two months right? Try thanking the previous three republican prez's that interestingly enough have caused a recession in each of there terms in office......

It took Clinton a few years to bail senior out, Im sure it will be that long or longer to bail dumbass..err I mean junior out.

I see my "thank you Obama" joke got under someone's skin. It was in good taste, as I did recommend going to a pawn shop for some cheap tools
Chill out and go 'do work'

I just hear it alot, to be honest, and find it funny. I also find it funny that people still to this day think Bush was a good prez. If it was a joke, whatev. But normally after a joke someone goes with a instead of the more serious

Or maybe your just covering up that you voted for bush? bwhahaha
