Default Helmet

My open face helmet really doesn't help keep my face warm in the mornings when I'm riding to work, and my SNELL rating on my bandit is expired. So I'm in need of a new helmet and I'd rather not buy two new ones. I'm leaning towards a Bell, I think the have both DOT and SNELL approval.

Anyone have any other suggestions? Other than buying a car.

Suggestions other than buying a car? How about hardening the fuck up, you pussy. Real men have leather for faces and laugh at the thought of riding in 21F temps every morning. Hell, my grandfather rode a missile powered Honda to the north pole wearing nothing but a dirty beater and burlap shorts, and when he got there he was sweating! You're everything that's wrong with our coddled, soft generation Bob.

Buy a car. I know a guy with an SVX he'll sell ya!

Big talk from some subaru fan boy, with your Ken Block dc shoes, your flat brim cap, drinking your monster. Go floss Ken Blocks nut hair from your teeth then talk to me. Or meet me at the flag pole at three o'clock.

By the way it was 10F this morning.

The SVX is sweet, but it doesn't really fit my hobo lifestyle... or wallet. You know what I mean? It's a bit too nice for me, not like a 30 year old honda motorcycle, or a 26 year old toyota.

Nothing beats the hobo life, stabbing folks with my hobo knife.

No, I get it. Doesn't mean I'm not going to stop harassing you on occasion.

This thread is full of awesome...

I have an older fullface Bell that you can have - it's brand new, black, and like 10 years old. Never worn. Size large. That'd give you some time to come up with a new spec'd helmet... I'll try to dig it up soonish...

And harden the f*ck up. I picked my bike up in a damn downpour. Rode it home in a blizzard two weeks later. Cold shmold.
