I heard the story:

Woman driver (), left it in reverse and thought it was in drive. Stomped on the gas instead of the brake and backed it right up on to the barrier. Thank god that thing was there, or that'd be an SUV parked right in a gas pump!

are you guys sure? the suv is on the end of the island!!!! i think they took the corner to sharp backing up or pulling forward

I saw that posted on NASIOC like over a year ago, and the guy who posted it supposedly took the picture, so he knew what happened 1st hand...

But that's all hearsay coming from me...

yah it might have took the turn too sharp then the left front kept pulling it forward?

There's no damage to the front bumper, and that thing would have lifted the whole front end of the car in the air, so the LF wouldn't have pulled anything... not to mention the truck's probably in 2WD which is the rears, not the fronts.

Bascially that rail is so high, the truck had to have backed into it hard. The rear bumper probably got beat up pretty good and kinda tossed the rear end up where it came to rest on the rail as seen in the picture.

you can't see the whole front bumper though.
