Default NEW EVO RIMZZZZZZ!!

hey guys, i am hella excited to have my new rims (and tires)... there was a small knick on one of them probably 1mmx1mm... i dont think it's worth complaining to tire rack and going through all that trouble.. ... anyway, they look like 20xxxxxx better than i'd ever imagined... and i'm glad i went with these instead of the volks.. enjoy the pics.

btw, they are SSR GT7-H rims.. gold with a machined lip.

I like those, althogh I'm not a fan of polished lips. I might consider those over the Comps one day. You know, when I'm way richer than I need to be.

Very, very cool. Have you thought about swapping out those tail lights for Evo VII's? My friend Eric did it to his Evo, and I thought it made the car 1,000 times sexier. Some people are fans of those tails though.

I still think your car is awesome, no matter what.

I like them a lot, good choice. It's gonna be harder to play dumb about your car being modded now. I had to laugh at this too at least not "everyone" has them...

It was you I saw at Summit today when I drove by, wasn't sure cause I didn't know you bought new rims. How much do the stock wheels weigh in comparison to those 18's? They remind me of the Prodrive wheels. Speaking of which check out these new Prodrive's...Japan only but you can buy them here if you don't mind spending an appendage for one...

I'm still looking for something light that won't break the bank... Found some cool wheels made by Velox Performance called PG-Rev 10, they weigh 11.5 lbs in 17" and have a 690KG load rating...the catch? Limited production and won't fit the STi...DOH!

Then I found these Speedline Turini's which look bitchin but weigh too much...

So... the hunt continues...will probably just get the OZ Supperleggra's and be done with it. I'm too picky for my own good.

Car looks awesome Michael.

Yeah they have those 5 spokers that are really lite but I don't like the look. IMO most 5 spokers look crummy on the STi, the Prodrive GC-05F shown above may look okay but I even have my doubts about that. I prefer the 7+ spoke wheels, but I don't want to go much over 17lbs for 17 X 8 wheels.

God I love that wheel! Looks better than I thought it might... So did you trade your wife and kids for those wheels? Last time I checked they were hella spensive!

I can buy JC owning an STi at lot easier than JC having a wife and kids to trade for some GC05s.
