I am still super confused as to what the SVX actually fits into class wise in autoX

Ok thank you. I search classing guides and often they throw it into what seems like random classes.

That's assuming it's completely stock. Do you have any mods or any repairs that might be different from factory original?
Edit: FSP provided you use stock size brake rotors based on what you listed in the other thread. Pads and lines are not limited. ECU is free as is the complete exhaust except for catalytic converters. STX is the same except headers must be emissions legal. If you run STX you're limited to 17x8s with 245.

Interesting...actually the SVX theoretically could stand about as much chance as a snowball in hell...better than zero chance like I originally thought.

You should have a decent chance to be competitive in FSP. Especially since nobody runs that regularly in our region.

The problem is that in one season you'll probably ruin the tranny and the rear wheel bearings. ![]() Now then... new bearings, coilovers, and a 5-speed would make the car *very* competative in FSP... where it'd be illegal due to the 5-speed. ![]()

My tranny is great, and if it goes the other SVX sitting in my driveway will have a nice tranny for me immediatly. I am now pondering getting my SVX ready for next season...i theoretically could get her in competitive shape by then. Plus you all would get to see the SVX become the beast it was meant to be.
I still cant wait to see what a supercharged svx can do...although now i dont think it will be my own when I see what it can do. Now I have to ponder every possible thing that could be done for FSP.

"Any fully padded and upholstered front seat may be used. " hmmm what exactly does this entail?
Question...correct me if I am wrong, my underdrive pulley makes my car illegal for the event correct(prepared that is).

The pulley is legal. "Any padded or upholstered seat" means any seat that isn't a total race bucket. It doesn't even have to recline so long as it's a usable street seat.

The Sparco EVO is pushing it... the rule of thumb I remember is that if it's got springs in it, it's okay, otherwise, not so much. I believe the wording in the rules used to be "upholsted and suspended" or something... if they've changed that, I'm not sure what's legal or not.
That said, I'm in SM now... anyone got a good deal on Sparco EVO2s? ![]()

Ok great, I was actually specifically wondering about the sparco street line so your answer hit scarilly(is that a word?) close to my question. Now the only problem is that I believe the SVX has really weird brackets. But My seats wont be getting replaced for awhile...too many other important things to waste money on at the moment. Now the big question...can i rip out the back seats? It never made mention of them in any description of what was legal or illegal (from what i read...i read through it several times) as far as doing any modifications to the back seats.

You have to go to Street Mod to remove back seats, and even there you can't strip anything from the interior.
