Corvette Summer
For some reason, we ended up talking about this movie tonight, and Nick had never seen it, or the car from it... A classic 73 Stingray with wacky hood and all...
I got home, and its on TCM rignt now... The movie itself is classic 70s B rate stuff. But this car was rice back when the word refered to grain grown in flooded fields... Luke Skywalker, Mark Hamill at his best...  And hey, it's red... There is some details on the car from an article in Corvette Magazine October 2000
