Took 'em long enough. Too bad it's still not as nice as the current AP, as it requires a laptop, and it won't even touch the new AP that's coming.

Though, it's nice they bundled DeltaDash with it. 'Course w/ the AP's cable and a laptop, you can run open-source loggers that are nearly as good.

A day late and a dollar short.

But, at least they have something now for ECUtek users.

Agreed - this really only matters if you already have an ECUtek tune or it is a no brainer to go with COBB AP.

It would be fun to get a 100 OCT map for my car just for yucks (or hucks off of some turn for me).

I don't know, if I read that correctly, In theory I would have to pay an additional $500 on top of the $600 or whatever it was for the original Flash to have something marginally better than an $600 AP, and nowhere near what a $800 AP+ST would provide.

And wait, did I read it is only available for drive by wire cars? So much for that for the person who ends up with my '02 WRX ECUTEK ECU.

Did anyone see anything about "back to stock" and the ability to then resell the license? I don't think so...

There is an upgrade path, so if you already bought the license the hardware is only $350.

Quote:
STI/WRX/Legacy EasyECU Flash + DeltaDash + EcuTek Maps, Includes Flash License $599.00

STI/WRX/Legacy EasyECU Flash + DeltaDash + EcuTek Maps, Includes Flash License + PDXTuning Maps (4 Total) $749.00

STI/WRX/Legacy EasyECU UPGRADE Flash + DeltaDash + Your Current PDXTuning Maps ( AVAILABLE ONLY TO CUSTOMERS WHO PURCHASED THEIR LICENSE AND MAP FROM US) $350.00

STI/WRX/Legacy EasyECU UPGRADE Flash + DeltaDash + NEW PDXTuning Maps (4 Total) $450.00

Ecutek Reflash without EasyECU, with Single PDXTuning Map $550.00

Drive by cable is 'coming soon' but then again, this has been 'coming soon' for about a year now.

Don't know about the back-to-stock issue though.

Only if you bought from them!!! $450 if your tuner is defunct...

So I'm with you, but it is way more than a month late, and a couple hundred dolars short for their existing customers.

And just not competitive in the marketplace IMHO.

I posted to Paul to see if he resolved the ecutek license issue and what the cost would be from him. $350 would be OK with me.

Paul can not do Ecutek due to the licensing issue. So If I can't get it cheaply there is no point.
